Alexandria University receives Chad Ambassador to discuss ways of academic support in nursing and health sciences
The president of Alexandria University Dr. Essam Elkordi received the Ambassador of Chad in Egypt Dr. Amin El Dodo Abdallah and the accompanying delegation to support cooperation between the two sides and to discuss ways of scientific and academic support to the Chadian institutions.The president of Alexandria University Dr. Essam Elkordi received the Ambassador of Chad in Egypt Dr. Amin El Dodo Abdallah and the accompanying delegation to support cooperation between the two sides and to discuss ways of scientific and academic support to the Chadian institutions.Dr. Elkordi declared that the university provides all kinds of support to Chad through graduate scholarships in all disciplines to serve the Chadian community. Elkordi pointed out that cooperation is coming through students exchanging and provided training for Chadian students in the laboratories and hospitals of Alexandria University.
The Ambassador stressed on the depth of relationships between Egypt and Chad and the role of Alexandria University branch in N'Djamena in serving Chadian community. Dr. Amin added that his country needs more cooperation and academic support of Alexandria University in the medical field to make use of the university experience in these disciplines.The meeting was attended by the Vice President of university for Education and Student Affairs Dr. Hisham Gabr, Vice President of university for Graduate Studies and Researches Dr. Mokhtar Youssef, the Advisor of University President for African Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Rehab and Dr. Gihan Ismail, Vice President of university for Academic Internationalization and International Cooperation.
President of University "the establishment of Confucius Institute will reflect the strong relationship between Shanghai and Alexandria"
Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of Alexandria University received Gyawali Yung, the Consul General of China in Alexandria to discuss the establishment of Confucius Institute in Alexandria University in cooperation with Shanghai University.
Dr. Elkordi stressed on the brotherhood relationship between Alexandria and Shanghai and this institute will reflect the symbolic relations between the two cities. He added that Alexandria University welcomes all cooperation methods with other international universities to initiate programs and use development international technology for Alexandria University researchers.
Alexandria University participates in the International Forum of Education and Scientific Research
Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of Alexandria University in the recent meeting of University Council declared that Alexandria University will participate in the International Forum of Education and scientific research that will be held in the period from 4 to 6 April 2019. Dr. ElKordi added that the forum activities will include presenting excellence centers in all universities at local and international level.
Alexandria University discusses ways to provide medical care for participating teams in Africa Cup of Nations
Alexandria University Council in its recent session headed by Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of Alexandria University approved the Faculty of Medicine proposal to be the medical sponsor of Africa Cup of Nations 2019 to provide all medical services for participating teams and coming fans.
