Alexandria University president Dr. Essam El-Kurdy called all faculty members of the Faculty of Fine Arts to participate with the artistic works that can be used to decorate the main roads and squares of the city.

This came during opening the Professors Exhibition in the faculty. The exhibition presented the artistic works such as photography, sculpture and graphics. The event was attended by Dr. Hisham Gaber the University deputy for Education and Students Affairs, faculty dean Dr. Mohamed Helal and faculty members. The exhibition was organized under the university celebration of the diamond Jubilee and the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of fine Arts.

Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the university deputy for Community Service and Environment Development and acting president of the university stressed on understanding the differences between the university level study and earlier education stages. He explained that the university study requires continuous communication between students and teaching staff, practicing scientific research and improving skills through development courses and student activities.

This came during a meeting organized by the Faculty of Medicine on Saturday morning, 24 of September 2016 to receive new students with a participation of Dr. Hisham Gaber, the university

deputy for Student Affairs and faculties deans in order to follow up which security procedures to secure students and university facilities at the first day of the academic year.

Prof. Alaa El-Din Ramadan, Vice President of Alexandria University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the 74th batch of the Faculty of Science, 4th Batch of Industrial Microbiology and Applied Chemistry Program, the ninth batch of the Petroleum Geology Program at the Faculty of Science in Moharam Bek . In the presence of. Dr. Amani Ismail, Dean of the College, former Vice Rectors, Vice Deans, Faculty Members, Heads of Departments, Staff, Parents and Students.

Dr. Hisham Gaber, Alexandria University Vice President for Education and Students Affairs opened the sixth international workshop organized by the Faculty of Specific Education under the title "Woman in the light of peace and sustainable development".

In his speech, Dr. Gaber emphasized the university role strengthen concepts of enlightenment, creativity, culture and arts and not to be limited to the academic aspect.

Dr. Gaber pointed to the importance of this global event organized by the Faculty of Specific Education, which comes as part of the university's celebration of its Diamond Jubilee. He referred to the subjects of the workshop about the women who is the whole society, not half. He also thanked Dr. Hend Hanafi as a model in the Egyptian society as the first woman to hold the position of president of Alexandria University.
