Alexandria University honors former deans
Alexandria University Council during its latest session headed by Dr. Essam El Kurdi honoured the former deans of faculties of Dentistry, Tourism and Hotels, Graduate Studies and Research Institute and the Higher Institute of Public Health.
Alexandria University honored the former deans who have just finished thier deanship period as recognition of their efforts in the education process.
Alexandria University to establish Faculty of Computers and Information in Matroh
Alexandria University Council during its latest session headed by Dr. Essam El Kurdi approved a proposal to establish the Faculty of Computers and Information in Matroh branch to cover the labor market needs of graduats with professional skills in computer science and information technology.
Cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding between AU and some institutions
Alexandria University Council during its latest session approved a number of cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding between AU and Alexandria Bibliotheca, Senghor University, the University of Technical Research for Engineering Sciences in Benghazy and Siemens Technology Company.
Dr. Mohamed Anwar Farag is the Dean of the Faculty of Education
Alexandria University President Dr. Essam El-Kordi has recently received Dr. Mohamed Anwar Farag.who has appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Education.
Dr. Kurdi wished all success for Dr. Anwar to achieve the progress of the university and Egypt.
Alexandria University receives a delegation from the Union of Egyptian Scientists in USA and Canada
At the end of Alexandria University celebrations on its Diamond Jubilee and in the framework of the interest AU to extend the bridges of communication with distinguished graduates abroad, AU President Dr. Essam Al-Kurdi and Dr. Seddik Abdel Salam, President of the Association of AU Alumni invited and honored a delegation of university graduates from the Union of Egyptian Scientists in USA and Canada.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Adel Al Maghraby, President of the Union and included Dr. Ahmed Tantawi; the International Consultant in Technology Development and Adaptation, Dr. Hanafi Melis; the Chairman of the Palmetto Capital, Dr. Salwa Al-Gebali; the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Norhart-Merland Company.
The visit aims to discuss ways of cooperation and communication between the scientists abroad and Alexandria University. It was also agreed to hold a conference for Alexandria University graduates in the last week of July 2018.
