Delegation from Alexandria University to provide consultations for national projects in Guinea
Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of Alexandria University received the Ambassador of Guinea in Cairo Mr. Sorbia Kamara to sign cooperation agreement between Alexandria University and Gamal Abdel Nasr University in Guinea in frame of the previous agreement.Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of Alexandria University received the Ambassador of Guinea in Cairo Mr. Sorbia Kamara to sign cooperation agreement between Alexandria University and Gamal Abdel Nasr University in Guinea in frame of the previous agreement.Dr. Elkordi emphasized the university care to strengthen collaboration with African universities through receiving the African students for study, training or technical support. The Rector pointed that it was agreed with Gamal Abdel Nasr University to send professors of Alexandria University to provide Guinea projects with their needs and engineering consultations. He added that Alexnadria University will establish center to develop teaching staff skills in Gamal Abdel Nasr University. The Ambassador said that he will support the agreement between the two universities indicating that 2019 is a great chance to achieve new start as Egypt has received the presidency of the African Union.The meeting was attended by Dr. Hisham Gaber, Alexandria University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hassan Nadeer, Former President of Alexandria University, Dr. Ibrahim Rehab, the Rector Advisor for African Affairs and Dr. Gihan Goifl, the Assistant of Vice President for international cooperation.

These programs will open the way for the graduates from the Faculty of Dentistry, Nursing, Fine Art, and Kindergarten study in this program. The meeting was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Rehab, the Advisor of Alexandria University for African Affairs and Dr. Gihan Gofel, the Assistant of Alexandria University Vice President for international cooperation.

Alexandria University receives Chad Ambassador to discuss ways of academic support in nursing and health sciences
The president of Alexandria University Dr. Essam Elkordi received the Ambassador of Chad in Egypt Dr. Amin El Dodo Abdallah and the accompanying delegation to support cooperation between the two sides and to discuss ways of scientific and academic support to the Chadian institutions.The president of Alexandria University Dr. Essam Elkordi received the Ambassador of Chad in Egypt Dr. Amin El Dodo Abdallah and the accompanying delegation to support cooperation between the two sides and to discuss ways of scientific and academic support to the Chadian institutions.Dr. Elkordi declared that the university provides all kinds of support to Chad through graduate scholarships in all disciplines to serve the Chadian community. Elkordi pointed out that cooperation is coming through students exchanging and provided training for Chadian students in the laboratories and hospitals of Alexandria University.
The Ambassador stressed on the depth of relationships between Egypt and Chad and the role of Alexandria University branch in N'Djamena in serving Chadian community. Dr. Essam Elkordi, the President of Alexandria University received Gyawali Yung, the Consul General of China in Alexandria to discuss the establishment of Confucius Institute in Alexandria University in cooperation with Shanghai University.
Dr. Elkordi stressed on the brotherhood relationship between Alexandria and Shanghai and this institute will reflect the symbolic relations between the two cities. He added that Alexandria University welcomes all cooperation methods with other international universities to initiate programs and use development international technology for Alexandria University researchers.
