The annual talent ceremony for foreign students in the Faculty of Arts
Dr. Essam El-Kordi; President of Alexandria University, and Dr. Hisham Gaber; Vice President for Education and Students witnessed the annual talents ceremony for foreign students studying Arabic at the Arabic Language Education Center for Foreigners at the Faculty of Arts. The event was held at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science in Smouha.
The students presented their diaries in Egypt through one year during events and activities organized by the Center.
Students of various programs participated like the students of the Chinese program CCIEE, students of the program of the Chinese University of Nanjing, students of the program of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, students of Cambridge University in England and students from the University of Political Science in France.
The ceremony also included a theatrical show entitled "Egyptian mantra" with some folk dances as well as a number of documentary videos of students' activities during travels and trips in Egypt.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ghada Moussa; Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Dr. Lina Habib who is responsible for the Center of Arabic language Education for Foreigners.
The MRI and Faculty of Tourism obtained the accreditation certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education & Accreditation
The Institute of Medical Research and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels - Alexandria University have obtained the accreditation certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education & Accreditation after they have completed all 14 standards of quality and standards for education; graduate studies, community service, administrative structure, In addition to postgraduate programs (MSc, PhD).
The number of faculties and institutes in the university that obtained accreditation after the accreditation of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education & Accreditation for the Institute of Medical Research and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels: (Faculty of Physical Education for Girls & Boys, Agriculture, Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, and the High Institute of Public Health).
Dr. El-Kordi congratulated the dean, faculty members, staff of the Quality Assurance Unit for obtaining the assurance of education, which is a new entitlement and a new commitment to maintain their status at the level of Egyptian universities and to develop their educational process to reach the global level.

Dr. Ghada Mousa is the Dean of the Faculty of Arts
Alexandria University President Dr. Essam El-Kurdi congratulated Dr. Ghada Abdel Moneam Mousa for the republican decree of assignment as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
"Higher Institute of Public Health" obtained accreditation from NAQAAE
Dr. Rushdy Zahran, President of Alexandria University declared that the total number of faculties and institutes of Alexandria University, which was accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education became 11 faculty and institute.
This came after the meeting held in the Faculty of Engineering with Prof. Dr. Johansen Eid, the Manager of NAQAAE on the occasion of opening of a branch of the authority in AU. During the meeting, it was announced that the Higher Institute of Public Health obtained the accreditation.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Essam El-Kurdi the University Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konswa; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ashraf
Nazem; Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Kamal Metwalli, Director of Quality Assurance Center of AU and a group of teaching staff members.
