Dr. Hisham Gaber, Acting President of Alexandria University received,  Dr. Gabriel Changson Chang, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology in South Sudan, and the accompanying delegation of higher education, scientific research and technology officials and universities in South Sudan, to discuss ways of cooperation between Alexandria University and its counterparts in South Sudan Sudan in the specializations, agriculture, veterinary medicine, engineering, nursing and education, and to discuss the mechanisms of starting the operation of the branch of Alexandria University in South Sudan, and joint cooperation in scientific and research fields that are consistent with the directions of the State of South Sudan in development and development, in the presence of Ambassador Joseph Majak, Ambassador of the State of South Sudan, Dr. Rasha Kamal, Acting Head of the Incoming Central Administration, Dr. Ibrahim Rehab, Advisor to the President of the University for African Affairs, Dr. Jehan Gouvel, Assistant Vice President for Internationalization of Higher Education, Dr. Hala Makled, Executive Director of the University's Expatriate Affairs Department, and the Deans of the Faculties of Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Nursing and Education.
