EU-Egypt Higher Education, Research and Innovation Roadshow: Addressing Societal Challenges
For the past decade, addressing Societal Challenges has been always the core of EU-Egypt Cooperation in Higher Education and Scientific Research. The EU-Egypt Higher Education, Research and Innovation Road-Show is a new initiative that aims at stepping up the collaboration between the EU and Egypt through enhancing Higher Education, Research and Innovation partnership. The Roadshow is designed to showcase results and promote EU Funding Programmes with special focus on Horizon 2020 and ERASMUS+ calls as well as highlight other bilateral agreements and initiatives with the EU countries.
EU-Egypt Higher Education, Research and Innovation Roadshow is an initiative under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and H.E. Ambassador James Moran, Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt.

September 30, 2016... Deadline to apply for Czech scholarships
Dr. Sedeek Abdul Salam, Vice President of Alexandria University for Graduate Studies and Research pointed to the statement of the Supreme Council of Universities on scholarships provided by the Czech government; note that the deadline to apply is September 30, 2016.
”Abdul Salam" said that the Czech government granted the Arab Republic of Egypt 3 scientific grants in the following disciplines:
(Economy - Commerce - Computers and information - Agriculture - Energetics – Environment)

31st of August is the deadline to apply for the grants of “STDF
DR. Seddik Abdel Salam; Vice President of Alexandria University announced for the available grants through various programs provided by Science and Technological Development Fund (STDF) to finance scientific researches through the following programs:
* Research Support Grants(STDF-RSG)
* Technology Development Grants(STDF-TDG)

Opening the Door to Apply forcompetitive Scholarships from the Czech Republic
Cultural Affairs and Missions sector announces for scholarships to collect the scientific materials for doctoral degree, each for a year, and scientific missions to conduct post-doctoral for five months, provided by the Czech Republic in the fields of (Engineering - Basic Research - Theoretical and Applied Physics - Czech Language and Literature).
The deadline to apply for these grants shall be:

BIT Scholarships for students from the leading universities in Egypt
In order to promote the international exchange and communication, Beijing Institute of technology (BIT) is offering up to 3 CSC (China scholarship council) scholarships for students from the leading universities in Egypt to pursue Masters and phD degree programs in BIT for the academic year 2017/2018 .
BIT entrusts Embassy of Arab Republic of Egypt in China to operate the scholarship .
The Embassy will select the candidates from Egypt universities and recommend them to BIT .
