Memorandum of Understanding with the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority to exchange experiences and experts
On Thursday, 11/8/2022, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and Dr. Sami Shaaban Atallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority signed a memorandum of understanding between Alexandria University and the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority, with the aim of cooperation and exchanging experiences and experts in the fields of Education, training, research and development in areas related to nuclear and radiological security, in the presence of Dr. Wael Nabil, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Said Allam, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, deputy head of the department, faculty members in the Department of Nuclear Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and officials of the Nuclear and Radiation Control Authority.
Alexandria University achieves advanced positions in the Shanghai Chinese Ranking for 2022
The results of the Shanghai Chinese World University Rankings for the year 2022 were announced, where Alexandria University came in second place at the level of Egyptian universities after Cairo University for the third year in a row. The ranking of world universities compared to the 601-800 rank last year.
Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, indicated that Alexandria University came in an advanced rank among the major and prestigious universities in the world in 7 disciplines in the Shanghai classification, where it came in the rank (101-150) in the specialty of veterinary science, and got the order (201). -300) in the majors of agricultural sciences and pharmacy & pharmaceutical sciences, ranking (301-400) in medical technology, and ranking (401-500) in biotechnology, clinical medicine, and public health
Dr. Konsowa receives a delegation from the American University of Louisville and Alamein International
On Monday, 15/8/2022, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, received a delegation from the University of Louisville in the United States of America, which included Dr. Emmanuel Collins, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Louisville, and Dr. Thomas Rockaway, Professor of Civil Engineering and Assistant Dean for Affairs Students at the University of Lovell, and Dr. Ayman El-Baz, Head of the Bioengineering Department at the University of Louisville and member of the Board of Trustees of El Alamein International University, and the delegation of El Alamein International University, which included Dr. Rushdi Zahran, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of El Alamein International University, Dr. Essam El Kordi, President of El Alamein International University, and Dr. Mustafa Elnainay, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at El Alamein University, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Al-Ghandour, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Wael Nabil, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Said Allam, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
