Under the auspices of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organized a veterinary service training convoy for the eighth village of Abis, in cooperation with the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in Alexandria.
 
 
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Maghrabi, who is managing the work of the Dean of the faculty, indicated that this convoy comes within the university’s plan to serve the Alexandrian community and train students for the faculty. He pointed out that the convoy included faculty members and the supporting staff from the clinical specialties at the faculty, where they examined, diagnosed, and treated diseases and surgeries of small and large animals and poultry, free of charge. He added that the convoy included final-level students from the faculty for practical training.
During the convoy, 442 cases were detected and treated, including cows, buffalo, sheep, goats, horses, and poultry. It witnessed a large turnout from the villagers, who expressed their thanks to the university and asked for the convoys to be repeated periodically.

Following the directives of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, to hold a series of awareness seminars for university students, the Community Service Sector at the Faculty of Medicine organized an educational seminar to raise health awareness among female students at the Smouha female campus.
 
 
Dr. Tamer Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicated that the seminar discussed topics affecting health, psychological, social, and scientific aspects. A group of specialized professors participated in the presentations, including Prof. Dr. Emad Darwish, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Dr. Israa Hamdy El-Banna, Resident Physician. They discussed the concepts of reproductive health, early marriage, and family planning. Prof. Dr. Heba Essam, Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry, also reviewed the psychological and social aspects related to choosing a life partner. Assistant Professor Heba Abdel Samee, Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology, addressed the topic of cyber violence and its impact on female students.
 
 
The event was well attended by female students from Alexandria University, who interacted extensively with the lecturers by asking questions and engaging in constructive dialogue and engaging with the issues under discussion.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Egyptian Students Union of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Alexandria, is organizing, over the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of this month, the Job Fair for students and graduates at the headquarters of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
 
 
 
Dr. Mervat Kassem, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, indicated that the job fair provides many employment and training opportunities in various fields of pharmacy, and provides the opportunity for students to learn about the various areas of the labour market, and prepare them to simulate the labour market, as well as providing job opportunities for graduates. She added that the job fair is held in an exemplary manner by using modern technology to facilitate student participation, using Google forms to submit the CV of each applicant, companies also use the QR code feature to receive CVs from applicants faster.
 
 
 
Dr. Sherif Rostom, vice dean for community service and environmental development affairs, noted that the employment forum is attended by a group of sponsors from pharmaceutical companies and institutions, in addition to a number of pharmacies, and partners of the Egyptian ٍStudents Union of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Alexandria are also present.

Dr. Abdelaziz Konswa, President of Alexandria University, congratulated Karim Ali Anani, student at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, for winning the first prize for the best architectural graduation project (Baltim Culture Complex) in the international competition "We Are Desco" among more than 350 participants and having it published in many international architectural magazines and websites, that was under the supervision of Dr. Doaa Ali Hassan, stressing the university’s keenness to provide all support to its talented and creative students to raise the name of Egypt and Alexandria University in international forums.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Dr. Ahmed Wahban, Dean of the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science, inaugurated the symposium organized by the Faculty in cooperation with the Economics and Political Science Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, entitled: “Paths of the Palestinian Issue in Light of the New Changes,” in which several professors of economics and political science from various Egyptian universities and institutes attended, as well as professors, faculty members, supporting staff, and students from both the departments of economics and political science.

The participants in the symposium praised the Palestinian people and the steadfastness of the people of Gaza in the face of the Zionist entity. Discussions demonstrated the impact of the Gaza War on regional security circles, the most prominent factors driving Egyptian foreign policy towards supporting the Palestinian issue, the components of the Egyptian position with regard to the Palestinian issue, and the strategic and economic importance of Gaza for Israel. Participants stressed the inevitability of the influence of political stability over economic stability, and that the solution to the Palestinian issue lies in cooperation and integration between the countries of the Arab world and Islamic countries, as well as the use of economic and political mechanisms to confront the colonial plague that Israel represents.
 
 
The symposium ended with some interventions by the students and attendees, which were answered by the lecturers.
