Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen, Acting Vice President of Alexandria University for Education and Student Affairs, announced during the Education and Student Affairs Council meeting, the beginning of logistical preparations and arrangements across all university faculties to organize second-semester final exams and to follow all necessary procedures and measures to provide a safe examination environment.
In light of the university's strategy for continuous development in the assessment process for students with disabilities, with the aim of achieving fairness, transparency, and true integration of students with disabilities, the council discussed the proposal submitted by Dr. Sameh Nakhla, Director of the University's Measurement and Evaluation Centre, regarding the assessment process for students with disabilities. This proposal should ensure comprehensive testing and efficient measurement of learning outcomes according to approved course specifications, taking into account students' diverse abilities. In the same context, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen directed the publication and distribution of a booklet issued by the Taha Hussein Centre for the Service of Students with Disabilities at Alexandria University, with the aim of introducing the concept of disability, various disabilities, and how to address them.

Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen praised the outstanding performance of the university's Rover students during the 44th Rover Scout Festival and the 16th Orientation Course, organized by the Rover and Public Service Department of the General Administration of Youth Welfare. He emphasized the importance of Rover activities in preparing students who are well-rounded and beneficial to themselves and their country. Rover activities also contribute to developing team spirit and volunteer work, achieving the overall goals of student activities, and preparing them for leadership that is aware of societal issues. He directed the faculty vice deans to provide all forms of support to student activities in general and Rover activities in particular.
Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen emphasized the importance of continuing to organize educational seminars and awareness lectures for students at the different faculties and institutes, with the aim of enhancing national and cultural awareness and supporting enlightened thought in light of the challenges facing the nation.
Dr. Hala Maklad, Executive Director of the International Student Affairs and Welfare Department, noted that the university is organizing a Community Day for international students on April 27th in the Great Hall of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, followed by a Community Exhibition at the university stadium. Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen emphasized the importance of providing support for international students, as expanding the enrolment of international students supports Egypt's cultural role, enhances its soft power, and strengthens its position as a leading country in higher education in the region.
Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen conveyed season’s greetings to Christian Egyptians, including faculty members, support staff, workers, and students, on the occasion of Easter and the spring holidays, praying to God Almighty to bring this occasion to Egypt with goodness, prosperity, and stability.
The council congratulated Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh Shokry on the issuance of the university president's decision appointing him to act as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Education and Student Affairs, wishing him success.
