In a Ramadan atmosphere that reflects the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity within the Alexandria University family, Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of the University, participated in the annual Iftar banquet organized by the University's Department of International Student Affairs for students of all nationalities.

The Iftar was also attended by Dr. Saeed Allam, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hisham Saeed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hala Maklad, Director of the University's International Student Affairs and Welfare Department, in addition to faculty deans, as well as representatives from embassies including Dr. Khaled Mohareb, Head of the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Cairo, Dr. Abeer Ali, Consul of Lebanon, Dr. Ismail Al-Hadi, Libyan Cultural Attaché; Mr. Tawfiq Al-Jahni, Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Alexandria, Mr. Nimer Al-Louh, Head of Educational Affairs at the Palestinian Consulate, Mr. Mohamed Hammad, Head of Cultural Affairs at the Palestinian Consulate, and representatives from several Arab and foreign embassies.

More than 250 students representing various nationalities from Asia, Africa, and Europe also attended, giving the evening a distinct international character that reflected the rich cultural diversity embraced by the university.
In his speech, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa welcomed the attendees, emphasizing that this annual tradition embodies the university's commitment to promoting cultural and social interaction among students of different nationalities. He also emphasized the university's unwavering commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive academic and social environment for its international students, helping them advance and excel.

The event included a rich program of diverse entertainment, as well as an open dialogue session, during which students and university representatives exchanged friendly conversations and shared their academic and cultural experiences.
At the conclusion of the evening, the international students expressed their gratitude for this generous gesture from Alexandria University, emphasizing that this iftar had strengthened their sense of belonging to the university community and built bridges of communication and understanding between them and their colleagues from different cultures.
