Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, chaired the first session of the Alexandria Private University Board of Trustees, attended by Dr. Maher Mesbah, Secretary of the Council of Private Universities, Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University and Acting President of Alexandria Private University, and members of the Board.
 
 
 
During the meeting, Dr. Mohamed Nasr El-Din Demir was elected by acclamation as Chairman of the Alexandria Private University Board of Trustees, and Dr. Hend Mamdouh Hanafi was elected as Vice Chairman of the University Board of Trustees.

For his part, Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa congratulated Dr. Mohamed Nasr El-Din Demir and Dr. Hend Hanafi, wishing them success. During the meeting, His Excellency also gave a presentation on the activities of Alexandria Private University and its commitment to international quality standards. He reviewed its strategy and vision for internationalizing education, establishing numerous partnerships and alliances with prestigious international universities, establishing dual degrees with distinguished international universities and research institutes, and cooperating internationally with highly ranked international universities. He emphasized the university's commitment to offering modern academic programs that align with labor market requirements, noting that this university is an ambitious project that reflects the Egyptian state's vision to improve the quality of educational services and enhance the role of scientific research. It's worth noting that Alexandria Private University is a fourth-generation university. It is equipped with the latest global educational systems and the latest technological tools to support the educational, training, and research process. It offers modern interdisciplinary study programs to keep pace with the new demands of the local, regional, and international labor markets. This is designed to meet the needs of future jobs and fulfill the role of private universities in maximizing the use of higher education institutions' resources and providing distinguished educational services, thus enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian higher education at the regional level.
