In an initiative that reflects the depth of national belonging and appreciation for the sacrifices of the Armed Forces men, and under the auspices of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria university, the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command organized an exceptional visit for Alexandria University students to Ras El Tin Naval Base in celebration of the immortal 10th of Ramadan victories.
This visit comes within the framework of the leadership's strategy to deepen national awareness among students and enhance their understanding of the pivotal role played by the Armed Forces in protecting Egyptian national security.
The visit witnessed a busy program that included an inspection tour inside the base, where students were briefed on the latest technologies and equipment used in protecting Egyptian territorial waters, and saw the aircraft carriers "Gamal Abdel Nasser" and "Anwar Sadat", which are among the most modern naval vessels in the Egyptian fleet, and listened to a detailed explanation of their capabilities and advanced combat capabilities. They also had the opportunity to interact directly with members of the naval forces, and ask questions and inquiries about their role in protecting the homeland.
Colonel Mohamed Maher, Director of the Military Education Department at Alexandria University, stressed the importance of this visit in enhancing the values of loyalty and belonging among students, and reminding them of the glories of the Egyptian Armed Forces, and their continuous sacrifices in all branches of the Armed Forces. The students expressed their pride and appreciation for the Egyptian Navy, and what they have seen of the development in Egyptian military capabilities, stressing the importance of the role played by the Armed Forces in protecting the homeland.
