Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, visited the Alexandria Security Directorate, where he congratulated Major General Hassan Attia on assuming the position of Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Alexandria Security, wishing him success and guidance.
The university president was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Saeed Allam, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Hisham Saeed, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research.
During the visit, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa appreciated the effective efforts made by the Egyptian police to maintain the security and stability of the homeland in all work sites and throughout our beloved country Egypt. The two sides discussed ways of support and cooperation between the two parties, as Dr. Konsowa stressed that the university is the house of expertise for the governorate, that provides development projects with the necessary studies, and contributes with its distinguished human cadres scientifically and research-wise in providing the necessary consultations, within the framework of everyone's endeavour to implement the vision and strategy of the Egyptian state under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
The Director of Alexandria Security also expressed his appreciation for this visit and the extension of cooperation ties, praising the many achievements of Alexandria University, and wishing the University President all the best in achieving the university's ambitious plan to remain a beacon of science and knowledge inside and outside Egypt. At the end of the visit, Dr. Konsowa presented the University Shield to the Director of Security in appreciation of the efforts of the police force in maintaining security within the country.
