Within the framework of Alexandria National University’s keenness to develop its students’ skills, enhance communication between them and their professors, and provide a supportive and stimulating educational environment for creativity and communication between students and faculty members, the students of the Medicine Program - Faculty of Medicine organized a cultural and entertaining student day, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Tantawi, Executive Director of the program. Medicine, and Professor Dr. Radwa Muhanna, general coordinator of the program.
 
 
 
 
The day included a series of valuable lectures that dealt with the professional path and job opportunities inside and outside Egypt for medical students, where Professor Dr. Ahmed Sabry, Professor of General Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine - Alexandria University and Director of the Compulsory Training Program at Alexandria University Hospitals, gave a lecture entitled “The Professional Path and Job Opportunities for Medical Students Dr. Mahmoud Raafat, teaching assistant at the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine - Alexandria University, also gave a lecture on how to work in Britain and pass the PLAB exam, and the student Youssef Shehab Tanas, who received the highest score in the USMLE exam, spoke about how to pass this exam to work in the United States. United States of America,
The establishment of a scientific association for the program was also announced
 
 
 
 
 
Alexandria National Scientific Student Association, Preparation for which began last year with a distinguished team of students and is now recognized by the International Federation of Medical Student Associations in Egypt.
The second part of the day included entertainment activities and competitions in which students and faculty members participated, which contributed to strengthening the bonds of love and affection between them. Many students also excelled in displaying their talents in the fields of poetry, singing, and playing.
 
 
 
 
 
The students held meetings with members of the program management, Professor Dr. Ahmed Tantawi, Executive Director of the Medicine Program, Professor Dr. Radwa Muhanna, General Coordinator of the program, Professor Dr. Maha Hegazy, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit and Head of the Program Curriculum Committee, and Professor Dr. Azza Baraka; Head of the program’s Quality Assurance Unit, and they spoke about the importance of balance between professional and personal life, how to develop students’ research skills, and the challenges facing new doctors and how to overcome them.
 
 
 
 
 
Participating in the celebration were Dr. Mahmoud Al-Khashin, Academic Supervisor at Alexandria National University, Dr. Yousry Taha, Dean of Registration and Admission at the University, Dr. Iman Youssef, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria National University, department heads, and a group of faculty members in the medical program at Alexandria National University.
