Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and in response to the invitation of Dr. Ghada Gobbara, President of the Academy of Arts, the Theatre Department at the Faculty of Arts and the General Administration of Youth Welfare (Cultural and Artistic Activity Department) participated in two theatrical performances entitled “Handala” and “Captain Yahya El-Nashed Team.” They were presented to the Cairo audience at the Nihad Seleiha Theatre, under the supervision of Dr. Manal Fouda, Head of the Theatre Department at the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Gamal Yakout, Professor at the Theatre Department, Mr. Mohamed Abdelkader, Teaching Assistant at the Department, Mr. Shehab Mahrous, General Director of Youth Welfare, and Ms. Noha Nadi, Director of the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activity. The performances were directed by the student Marwan Mahmoud, and Mr. Ahmed Samir.
