Dr. Abdelaziz Konswa, President of Alexandria University, congratulated Dr. Mohamed Lotfy, President of the British University in Cairo, for receiving an honorary doctorate from the British University of Sunderland. In appreciation of his professional career, his prominent role and his ongoing scientific efforts in the field of internationalization of higher education, and in appreciation of the achievements he achieved during his work at the University of Sunderland, and his professional and diverse achievements during his scientific history in the field of higher education for more than 30 years.
 
 
 
It is noteworthy that Dr. Mohamed Lotfy is a son of Alexandria University, where he was a member of the teaching staff at the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research. He traveled to obtain his doctorate from the University of Sunderland. After his graduation, he served as Director of the Department of International Education at the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom in 2008. He was also an associate professor in the Faculty of Science. Computer and technology.
Dr. Lutfi received an honorary doctorate from Sir David Bell, President of the University of Sunderland, in a solemn ceremony held on the university’s campus in England.
 
 
 
Dr. Mohamed Lotfy has a long historical record and a great scientific career during which he was able to prove his scientific merit and raise the name of Egypt high through his name, which has become listed in many positions. He is one of the youngest people to hold a leadership position in UK universities, and he is the former Vice-President of Cardiff Metropolitan University. in Wales as well as Coventry University in the United Kingdom. He also served as an advisor to the UK Higher Education Leadership Foundation, and a member of the Academic Council of its international leaders in higher education programme, the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education.
 
 
 
Dr. Mohammad Lotfy is also considered one of the most important professors of internationalization of higher education and the development of strategic partnership applications and community service locally, in addition to strategies for internationalizing universities internally and externally in more than 25 countries, some of them at the governmental level. These partnerships with universities, in different countries, included improving institutional cooperation in Education, teaching and community service, including developing programs for university leaders to implement reforms to higher education systems and international strategies in their universities, and with his extensive and well-known experience as a professor of internationalization from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, and a visiting professor in development and leadership at Euro-Asia University in China, He is a visiting professor at Coventry University in the United Kingdom, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Quality Assurance Authority, helped in this by his early participation in many projects, achievements and scientific platforms that help in the renaissance of higher education.
