Alexandria University has achieved a new scientific milestone, with 52 of its scientists and researchers included in Stanford University’s list of the world’s top 2% scientists, compiled in collaboration with Elsevier, reflecting their international research impact.

Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, congratulated the listed researchers, praising their scientific excellence and the University’s continued efforts to advance research quality, innovation, and international collaboration.

The list includes 24 researchers in the Career-Long Impact category and 48 in the Single-Year Impact category for 2025, with 20 researchers appearing in both, bringing the total to 52.

Their research spans a wide range of disciplines, including chemistry, medical and pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, mathematics, physics, agricultural and biological sciences, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, materials science, and environmental sciences, highlighting the diversity and global impact of Alexandria University’s research.
