
Engineer Hossam El-Khouly, Deputy Chairman of the Future of Egypt Party and Head of its Parliamentary Body in the Senate, honored Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, and Dr. Tamer Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, in recognition of their efforts to support the medical sector and university hospitals and enhance the university’s role in serving the community.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Amira Yassin, Deputy Governor of Alexandria, representing Governor Ayman Attia, along with Dr. Afaf El-Awfy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and several party leaders and members.
Dr. Abdel Hakim highlighted the party’s community role and support for university hospitals and students, noting that Alexandria University allocated more than EGP 160 million from its 2025/2026 budget to support medical and therapeutic services.
Following the ceremony, Future of Egypt Party members visited the Faculty of Medicine and donated medical supplies and medicines to support patients at the University Main Hospital.
