The Alexandria University Council for Education and Student Affairs, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of the University, discussed preparations for the 2026/2027 academic year, student services, and digital transformation.

The Council reviewed the readiness of faculties, including medical examinations for new students, academic schedules, classrooms, laboratories and libraries, maintenance works, and the distribution of university ID cards.

Dr. Abdel Hakim emphasized expanding student activities, supporting talents in sports, arts, and culture, and providing comprehensive support for students, including students with disabilities.

The Council also discussed digitizing services at university dormitories and maximizing the use of the Alexandria University Student Platform, which provides academic advising, e-textbooks, psychological counseling, student welfare services, and medical appointment booking.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continuing professional training for faculty members and staff to enhance digital skills and improve the quality of university services.
