Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, inaugurated the activities of the 18th Art Exhibition for female students of university dormitories, held as part of the university’s strategy to support student activities and enhance creative skills.

The event was attended by a number of deans and vice deans of faculties, faculty members, Mr. Ahmed Abdel Raouf, Acting Director General of University Dormitories, Ms. Amina Shata, Director of the Female Dormitories Administration, Ms. Rasha Amin, Student Activities Officer at the Female Dormitories, as well as supervisors and mentors of the dormitories, and students from various faculties of the university.

The exhibition showcased a distinguished collection of artworks produced by the students, following their training through art workshops organized by the Student Activities Department at the university dormitories.

During his tour of the exhibition, Dr. Abdel Hakim praised the high standard of the displayed works, affirming the university’s commitment to supporting student activities and developing students’ creative abilities, given their important role in building well-rounded personalities and fostering innovation. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the organizers, stressing the importance of continuing such events that help discover and nurture young talents and create a stimulating environment for creativity and excellence.

The exhibition witnessed a significant turnout from students, who expressed their appreciation for this initiative that reflects the university’s commitment to supporting and nurturing student talents.

The students presented a variety of artworks, including glass painting, charcoal, pastel and pencil drawing, doodle art, oil, wax and acrylic painting, in addition to decoupage, paper pulp works, plaster artworks, and innovative designs, all of which reflected their artistic skills and creative vision.

At the end of the visit, the Acting President of the University was keen to take commemorative photos with the participating students, wishing them continued success and excellence in all fields.
