
Alexandria University concluded the 15th edition of its Annual Student Theatre Festival, held at the Faculty of Engineering Conference Hall, in the presence of prominent artists, including Sabry Fawaz and Hamza El-Eily, along with university leaders, faculty members, and students.
Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, attended the closing ceremony and emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting student activities—especially theatre—for its vital role in fostering creativity, cultural awareness, and teamwork among students.
The festival featured 16 theatre teams from various faculties, presenting outstanding performances that reflected diverse social and cultural themes.
The guest artists praised the high level of performances, highlighting the talent and artistic awareness of the students, and commending the university’s role in nurturing young creatives.
The event concluded with a documentary showcasing festival highlights, followed by the announcement of results and awards in a celebratory atmosphere.
