As part of Alexandria National University’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and preparing graduates who can compete effectively in both regional and global labor markets, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, Alexandria National University organized an introductory session for students of the Faculties of Engineering and Computer Science to present its dual degree programs in cooperation with the University of Louisville (USA) and the University of Essex (UK). The session witnessed distinguished student attendance and strong engagement.
During the session, the (3+1 / 4+1) dual degree program with the University of Essex was presented. The program enables students to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Alexandria National University alongside a master’s degree from the University of Essex, enhancing students’ academic pathways and opening up promising international opportunities.
The session also highlighted cooperation programs with the University of Louisville, including the (2+2) program, which allows students to earn two bachelor’s degrees from both universities, in addition to a distinguished master’s track that enables students to count two undergraduate courses toward the master’s degree requirements, with the remaining study to be completed within one academic year at the University of Louisville.
The session witnessed strong interaction from students, who raised numerous questions regarding admission requirements, language proficiency, tuition fees, and training and employment opportunities after graduation. All inquiries were thoroughly addressed by the program coordinators.
