
As part of Alexandria University’s commitment to supporting and caring for international students and enhancing their integration into the university community, the university participated in the annual Iftar ceremony for international students organized by the Central Administration for International Students Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The event was attended by Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Ayman Farid, Assistant Minister and Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector; Dr. Ahmed Abdel Ghani, Head of the Central Administration for International Students Affairs; along with a number of university presidents, council secretaries, ambassadors, advisors and cultural attachés, ministry officials, media representatives, and international students from various nationalities.
Dr. Hala Mekled, Director of the International Students Office at Alexandria University, explained that the university attaches great importance to the international students file, in line with the directives of Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, to develop the system of services provided to them and facilitate academic and administrative procedures, in addition to providing an integrated educational environment that supports their integration into university life. This also strengthens the university’s role in supporting the Egyptian state’s efforts to reinforce its position as a distinguished regional and international destination for higher education.
She added that Alexandria University’s participation in this event reflects its continuous support for international students and its commitment to enhancing communication with them and providing various forms of academic and service support, contributing to a distinguished educational experience and reinforcing the university’s position as an attractive educational destination for students from around the world.
