Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, expressed his sincere appreciation and pride in the pioneering role played by Egyptian women across various fields of work and contribution, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. He affirmed that women have always been essential partners in the journey of development, nation-building, and shaping the future.

Dr. Abdel Hakim noted that Egyptian women have consistently demonstrated their ability to excel and take on responsibility in all fields throughout history. He added that the women of Alexandria University represent a distinguished example of this dedication through their outstanding scientific, research, and administrative contributions that support the university’s progress and strengthen its academic standing.

He emphasized that the university takes pride in the continuous achievements of its female faculty members, researchers, academic leaders, and students in the areas of education, scientific research, and community service, noting that these accomplishments reflect women’s competence and their capacity for creativity and innovation.

He also expressed the university’s pride in its female graduates who have assumed influential leadership positions in various state institutions and continue to play an active role in serving society and supporting sustainable development efforts.
