Alexandria University Council approved, during its meeting on Monday, March 14^th, 2016 to update the criteria for university awards, and adopted the new formation of the awards committee. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Rushdi Zahran, the University President, approved the proposal of introducing an Award for Innovation in the field of teaching and the development of education using modern technological means and another to be rewarded to students who receive awards at international, regional and local competitions.
