Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, participated in the Christmas celebrations with the Western Christian denominations in Alexandria Governorate, as part of a delegation headed by Major General Ahmed Khaled Saeed, Governor of Alexandria. The delegation also included Major General Staff Officer Yasser El-Khatib, Commander of the Northern Military Region, along with a number of executive and public leaders of the governorate.

The visit included several churches, among them the Apostolic Church, Our Lady of the Dormition Church, Our Lady of the Dormition Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Resurrection, and the Maronite Church, where greetings were extended on the occasion.

The President of Alexandria University expressed his pleasure at participating in these celebrations, affirming that Christmas embodies the values of love and peace and reflects the depth of national bonds among the Egyptian people. He prayed that this blessed occasion may return to Egypt with greater security, stability, and prosperity.
