As part of its efforts to promote its international academic programs, Alexandria University participated in the 18th Gulf Exhibition for Education and Training, held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on October 22–23, 2025. The exhibition witnessed extensive participation from Egyptian, Arab, Gulf, and international universities, and was attended by representatives of the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education, the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation in the Sultanate of Oman.
This participation reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing its regional and international presence, supporting the Egyptian state’s efforts in marketing higher education abroad, and attracting more international students to study at Egyptian universities.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Ghany, Head of the Central Administration for International Students, and Dr. Ahmed Saeed Fahim, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Alexandria University booth witnessed significant interest from high-school students in Saudi Arabia and their parents. During the event, Dr. Hala Mokled, Executive Director of the International Students Affairs and Welfare Administration at Alexandria University, and Dr. Mostafa El-Sekeily, Assistant Executive Director, presented a detailed overview of the university’s faculties and academic programs, including its international joint and dual degree programs offered in collaboration with prestigious global universities. These programs represent innovative educational models that attract students from various countries.
Dr. Hala Mokled noted that the university’s participation comes in line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, to expand into Gulf educational markets and open new pathways for Arab students seeking high-quality academic programs within Egypt. She highlighted the strong interest received for programs in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Business Administration, and various postgraduate programs.
She added that the exhibition provided an exceptional opportunity for direct engagement with students and parents, answering their inquiries regarding admission requirements, study systems, academic advantages, and services offered to international students. She emphasized the university’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience in accordance with international standards.
