At the beginning of the meeting of the Council for Education and Student Affairs held today, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hakim, Vice President of Alexandria University for Education and Student Affairs, expressed his sincere appreciation to the vice deans of the faculties for their distinguished efforts in ensuring the smooth progress of the academic process since the start of the academic year, and for their dedication to providing a supportive and conducive learning environment for students across the university.
Dr. Abdel Hakim emphasized the importance of providing full support to both Egyptian and international students, and of facilitating all academic and administrative procedures to ensure an exceptional university experience.
He also stressed the need to strengthen communication between faculty administrations and students through the activation of academic and psychological counseling services, and by providing assistance in overcoming academic or social challenges, reaffirming that students remain at the core of the educational process and the foundation for building the future.
Dr. Abdel Hakim further affirmed the university’s commitment to empowering students of determination and creating an inclusive learning environment that enables them to fully participate in academic life and extracurricular activities, in line with the state’s strategy in this regard.
He added that Alexandria University continues its efforts to modernize its educational system and implement digital transformation mechanisms in student services, to facilitate faster and more efficient access to academic services, thereby enhancing the university’s competitiveness both locally and internationally.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council extended congratulations to Dr. Kamal Salah Issa Saqr on his appointment as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture (Saba Basha) for Education and Student Affairs, and to Dr. Mohamed Essam Hagar on his appointment as Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs, wishing them continued success in their new roles.
