Under the auspices of Major General Mohab Habashi, Governor of Port Said, Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Alexandria University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Port Said University, organized its scientific conference entitled “Early Childhood and Artificial Intelligence: A Future Vision in Light of the Presidential Initiative ‘A Beginning for Building the Human Being’.”

The conference was held over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, October 1–2, 2025.

Alexandria University participated with a high-level delegation that included Prof. Dr. Rehab Seddik, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education; Prof. Dr. Lamia Osman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Solaf Abou El Fath El Hamrawy, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Dr. Eman El Nakeeb, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

During her speech at the opening session, Prof. Dr. Rehab Seddik emphasized that the conference represents a successful model of integration and cooperation between Alexandria University, with its long-standing academic heritage and scientific leadership, and Port Said University, known for its continuous development and dynamism in supporting scientific research. She explained that the conference provides a national scientific platform for dialogue on the future of early childhood education in light of the digital revolution and explores how artificial intelligence technologies can be employed to support children, teachers, and families through educational applications and intelligent assessment tools that consider individual differences and contribute to improving the quality of early childhood education services.

She further stressed that the conference aligns with global trends in early education and is consistent with the Presidential Initiative “A Beginning for Building the Human Being” launched by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which serves as a comprehensive national framework for investing in the development of the Egyptian human being from the earliest stages of childhood.

The scientific sessions witnessed the participation of a large number of professors, deans, and vice deans from both Alexandria and Port Said Universities, including Prof. Dr. Eman El Nakeeb, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Alexandria University, and Prof. Dr. Hend El-Gebaly, Dean of the Higher Institute of Social Work in Alexandria, alongside a distinguished group of experts and researchers in the fields of education and artificial intelligence.
