Under the auspices of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Center for Educational Innovations and Lifelong Learning, in cooperation with Alexandria University’s PILOT Incubator, organized an intensive five-day entrepreneurship training program for faculty members and their students. The program was a special edition of the "Daqo El-Shamasy" summer 2025 workshop series.

The training covered a range of topics delivered by a distinguished group of expert trainers, including incubating creative ideas at the PILOT Incubator, marketing and digital marketing for startups, artificial intelligence for entrepreneurship, intellectual property for emerging projects, presenting prototypes and securing funding. The teams also received guidance and mentoring from the PILOT Incubator team.

The program concluded with the PILOT Pre-Incubation Competition, where 28 teams from various public, national, and technological universities competed.

The competition results were as follows:

First Place: WAYPRO team, supervised by Dr. Sherif Kandil, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University.

Second Place: Tourigo team, supervised by Dr. Dina Hosny El-Naggar, Faculty of Engineering, Benha National University.

Third Place: FMS team, supervised by Dr. Mohamed Samir, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

Fourth Place: Pharma Safe Link team, supervised by Dr. Ibrahim Shoaib, Borg El Arab Technological University.

Fifth Place: Patients Together team, supervised by Dr. Alaa Gamaa, Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Alexandria University.
