Alexandria University’s Community Service and Environmental Development Council, during its meeting held this morning, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, chaired by Dr. Saeed Allam, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, discussed comprehensive maintenance procedures for all university buildings during the summer. This is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all buildings in preparation for the new academic year by assessing the current condition of the buildings and carrying out the necessary maintenance.
Dr. Saeed Allam also emphasized to the Vice Deans for Community Service and Development Affairs the need to review the firefighting systems in all university facilities, especially with the soaring temperatures. This review should include an inspection and evaluation of all components of the firefighting systems to ensure their readiness and effectiveness, and to ensure that the system is operating properly. This review should also identify any problems or weaknesses and take the necessary measures to address them and improve performance.
Dr. Saeed Allam also thanked the Vice Deans for Community Service and Development Affairs for their efforts in ensuring the success of the university's plan for community service and environmental development during the past academic year.
- The Council also honoured Dr. Salem Abdelrazek, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Alaa El-Gharbawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Dina Ezz El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for Community Service and Environmental Development, on the occasion of the end of their terms of office and for their tireless work and tangible achievements during their tenure.
- The Council also discussed reports submitted by the Faculties of Business, Science, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Education, the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, Physical Education for Girls, Nursing, Agriculture (Saba Pasha Campus), and Early Childhood Education, regarding their activities in the community service and environmental development sector.
