Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, congratulated the university's scientists who won the 2024 State Awards from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. The awards were announced today during the Academy Council session chaired by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Council, in the presence of Dr. Gina El-Feki, Acting Chair and Vice Chair of the Council, and a number of scientists and experts who are members of the Council.

Dr. Konsowa emphasized that this achievement represents the culmination of these scientists' distinguished scientific efforts, noting that the university will always support, with all its capabilities, every researcher and innovator who contributes to the nation's progress and raises its flag in scientific forums.

0. Dr. Abdel Fattah Mohamed El-Sayed Youssef, full-time professor at the Faculty of Science, won the State Appreciation Award in Science (in the field of agricultural sciences).

0. Dr. Mohamed Ismail Abdo Ibrahim, full-time professor at the Faculty of Science, won the Pioneers in Science Award for 2024.

Dr. Yasra Ahmed Sultan Abdel Rahman, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, won the Women's Encouragement Award (in the field of Agriculture and Food Sciences).

Dr. Samar Saad Saad Al-Bulahi, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, won the State Encouragement Award in Science (in the field of Agricultural Sciences).

Dr. Mohamed Talab Al-Basyouni Mohamed Ismail, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, won the State Encouragement Award in Science (in the field of Medical Sciences).

Dr. Mohamed Al-Safi Abdel Salam Ali, Lecturer at the Faculty of Science, won the State Encouragement Award in Science (in the field of Physical Sciences).

Dr. Hossam Al-Sayed Ahmed Qutb, Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, won the State Encouragement Award in Science (in the field of Engineering Sciences).
