Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, congratulated the Faculty of Fine Arts for its selection among the list of the top 100 universities in architecture worldwide for the year 2024 in the 10th Inspireli Awards global competition.
The Faculty of Fine Arts was ranked the fourteenth out of 1362 participating universities, and it won second place among African universities.
Dr. Nevin Gharib, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, indicated that this result reflects the strength of the university and the faculty as an educational and research institution that can compete with various international universities, explaining that she and Dr. Iman Mounir were selected as members of the jury in the global competition to represent the Department of Architecture and the Department of Decor and Interior Architecture, and to evaluate the level of students from various international universities. She added that some projects made by students of the Department of Decor and Interior Architecture, Alexandria University participated, where 31 projects were accepted.
It is worth noting that the list of names of participating students included Reem Roshdi Radwan Othman Zaqzouq, Reham Ayman Mohamed Attia El-Saadani, Sandra Mostafa Awad Ibrahim Hussein, Sagda Shaaban Anwar Mokhtar Deif, Salma Adel Abdallah Abdelrahman Ali, Salwa Ahmed Anwar Ahmed Ali El-Sagheer, Sohaila Ayman Mahmoud Hegazy Mohamed, Sohaila Mohamed Fawzy Suleiman Kharousa, Shorouk Shaaban Ibrahim Abdelrasoul, Sherine Reda Sayed Samman, Shams Wael Mustafa El-Sayed Ibrahim, Shahd Khaled Darwish El-Sebaai El-Tantawi, Shahd Abdelnaeem Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Naga, Nadine Adel Badawi Badawi Mohamed, Mayar Hashem Mohamed Mohamed Imbaby, Nada Sameh Fathy Morsi Mohamed El-Barawy, Nouran Mohamed El-Samman Ahmed Ali, Nouran Mohamed Abdelmohsen Mohamed El-Naggar, Hagar Sherif Salah Abdelaziz, Hagar Al-Khadr Mohamed Abdelmoneim Naeem, and Youssef Ibrahim Mahmoud Ahmed Omran.
