As part of Alexandria University’s community service mission, the Faculty of Medicine organized a comprehensive medical caravan in Dairout Village, El-Mahmoudia, Beheira, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, and the supervision of Dr. Affaf Al-Oufy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The caravan involved 23 specialized physicians and 65 students from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, providing medical services to 863 citizens across 13 specialties. Free medications were provided, while 71 cases were referred to Alexandria University Hospitals for further examinations and necessary surgical interventions.

The caravan also featured health awareness activities, including awareness of the risks of population growth, contributing to improved health and community awareness among residents.
