
As part of the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment at Alexandria University to supporting economic empowerment issues and enhancing financial literacy among students and staff, and under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of the University, the Faculty organized an awareness seminar titled:
“Strategies for Women’s Economic Empowerment through Personal Budget Management Skills.
Prof. Wael Mohamed El-Moghlany, Acting Dean of the Faculty, noted that the seminar addressed the importance of personal financial management in strengthening economic independence. It also presented practical skills for effective budgeting and achieving financial stability.
The session was delivered by a representative of the Export Development Bank of Egypt (E-Bank).
The seminar was attended by Dr. Sherwet El-Ghamli, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit; Dr. Eman El-Tahan, Assistant Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Dr. Eman Harraz, Training Coordinator of the Women’s Empowerment Committee. The event witnessed notable engagement from participants, reflecting growing interest in enhancing financial awareness and supporting women’s economic capabilities.
