Within the framework of the effective partnership between Alexandria University and the University of Louisville (USA), and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the University of Louisville will host a number of Alexandria University students for summer training for the fifth consecutive year in its research laboratories across various engineering disciplines.

This program is considered one of the most prominent undergraduate research training programs in the Middle East, offering an outstanding opportunity for Egyptian students to participate in applied research projects within the laboratories of the University of Louisville, under the direct supervision of a distinguished group of American scientists and faculty members.

The program is implemented through cooperation between Alexandria University and the University of Louisville to provide a Summer 2026 training opportunity for undergraduate students enrolled in one of the engineering programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, in accordance with the details stated in the application form.

Training Period:
From June 25 to September 25, 2026
Application Method and Requirements
To apply for the summer training program, applicants must be Egyptian students enrolled in one of the engineering programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, and must meet the following requirements:
A minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.00 after Summer 2025.

The applicant must be in the second or third academic year during Fall 2025.
Submission of a comprehensive CV in English, highlighting the student’s activities and projects.

Possession of a valid passport.
Submission of a Statement of Purpose not exceeding one page (approximately 500 words), explaining the student’s vision and objectives for participating in the training.
Applicants will undergo a personal interview, and final acceptance is contingent upon successfully passing this interview.
