Under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the activities of the Fourth International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls will begin next Sunday, the 11th of December, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The conference entitled "The Reality of Sports and Aspirations for the Future" is organized in partnership with Martin Luther University, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the University of Mansoura.
Dr. Maha Amin, Dean of the Faculty and President of the conference, indicated that over the course of three days, the conference will discuss ways to keep pace with scientific developments in sports for people with disabilities, and the current challenges facing the sporting structure, in order to be ready for the future of sports in the Arab world and globally. The conference will also discuss how to upgrade the scientific research strategy in the fields of sports science, ways to activate the role of physical education in schools and universities, mechanisms for activating partnerships between universities and civil society institutions to improve the future of sports, and how to employ electronic technologies in developing the structure of sports sciences.
