Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, praised the smooth and efficient progress of the final exams for the second semester during a meeting of the Alexandria University Education and Student Affairs Council held today, Monday, May 19, 2025. He emphasized that the university has made all necessary arrangements to monitor the progress of the exams on an ongoing basis and to provide a suitable environment and all means of comfort and care for students during their exams.

He also emphasized the provision of medical teams for emergency cases and designated spaces for students with special needs to facilitate their progress. He emphasized the need for faculty members, supporting staff, and the administrative staff to continue to attend throughout the exam period to ensure the regularity and smooth running of exams.
 
 
 
He also commended the effective role of the Centre for Measurement and Evaluation, headed by Dr. Sameh Nakhla, in monitoring the progress of exams, and the efforts of the General Administration for Youth Care, headed by Mr. Shehab Mahrous, in organizing student activities and actively participating in the Best University Student Activities Competition.

Dr. Abdelmohsen directed the faculty vice deans to encourage final-year students to participate in the Egyptian Student Participation Survey issued by the Supreme Council of Universities. This survey aims to measure the quality of educational services and student satisfaction with their university experience. He emphasized that the results of this survey contribute to the development of the educational process within the Ministry of Higher Education's strategy.
 
 
 
He also highlighted the university's distinguished participation in the "Mawadda" presidential program, organizing events and workshops for faculty members and students, especially those with disabilities. He praised the efforts of Professor Dr. Mohamed Anwar, former Dean of the Faculty of Education, and the project team in implementing this important community initiative.
