A 3+1 Master's supplement was also signed in the Marine Sciences and Blue Economy program, to find innovative solutions for the optimal use of marine resources. The remaining supplementary degrees are currently being prepared for signing and implementation.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Saeed Allam, Vice President of Alexandria University for Community Service and Development, Dr. Hisham Saeed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Rachid Amara, Vice President for International Affairs at the University of Littoral, Dr. Sherine Khattab, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Walid Abdelazim, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Sameh Shehata, Supervisor of the International Relations Office at Alexandria University, and Dr. Gihan Gewaifel, Assistant President for Internationalization of Education and International University Branches.

In his speech, Dr. Konsowa emphasized that this cooperation is a continuation of the signing of the cooperation protocol between the two sides on the sidelines of French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Egypt as part of the Egyptian-French Universities Forum.

The university president noted that the meeting also discussed the possibility of establishing joint or dual degrees between the two universities in the fields of engineering, computer engineering, and computer science.
It also discussed the possibility of cooperation through the Alexandria University branch in Chad, which serves French-speaking African countries. It also discussed the possibility of cooperation to increase academic and research exchange opportunities between the two universities, including faculty and student participation in scientific conferences held by both sides in areas of mutual interest.

Dr. Sherine Khattab explained that the Blue Economy degree focuses on the intersection of marine science and the blue economy, allowing students from both sides to study pressing environmental challenges related to marine ecosystems, marine biodiversity, and sustainable resource management. This is achieved by linking marine science research with industry and economic growth, thus enhancing scientific knowledge and the knowledge economy. It also allows students to combine Egypt's rich marine resources with Alexandria University's expertise in marine sciences to promote sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and the economy.

The Littoral University delegation gave a presentation on the university, its faculties and departments, the academic programs it offers across various degrees, and the proposed programs for cooperation between the two universities. The delegation praised Alexandria University's experience in cooperating with international universities, and its pioneering education system in Africa and the Middle East.
