Alexandria University’s Graduate Studies and Research Council, headed by Dr. Hisham Saeed, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, stressed to all faculties and institutes of Alexandria University the importance of adhering to Alexandria University Council Resolution No. (171) amended for the year 2018 regarding determining the foreign language level for graduate students at the university and the foreign language tests required of students, and stressing to all students the necessity of applying to accredited bodies, according to what was approved by the University Council, to conduct this exam and no other.
Dr. Saeed also stressed to the vice deans of the faculties and institutes of the university the importance of placing the name of Alexandria University on all articles published in various periodicals as a basic condition for obtaining scientific publication rewards from Alexandria University, and the necessity of adhering to the decision of the Executive Committee for Missions issued in the session dated September 25, 2019, regarding the conditions for obtaining external missions, that the faculty member does not travel except after completing two years of service From the date of their appointment to the university.
The Council also approved the cooperation agreement between Alexandria University and the Albert Jacquard Higher Institute in Namur, Belgium, with the aim of enhancing academic and research cooperation between the two parties with proposed funding from the Erasmus Initiative provided by the European Union. The Council also discussed the cooperation agreement between Alexandria University (Faculty of Tourism and Hotels), the Ministry of Antiquities and Flyerzone Company in the United States of America. The Council was also informed of the approval of the formation of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Faculty of Specific Education.
