As part of the series of exhibitions organized by the Long Live Egypt Fund “Tahya Misr” in the governorates of the republic throughout the academic year, Dr. Wael Nabil, Vice President of Alexandria University for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Tamer Abdelfattah, Executive Director of the Long Live Egypt Fund, inaugurated yesterday, at the headquarters of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, a new clothes fair which lasts for 3 days, with the aim of giving more than 4,000 male and female students the opportunity to choose what suits them from the fair as a gift from the Fund, as part of the activities of the third phase of the Happiness Shop “Dukkan El Farha” initiative, implemented by the Fund to sponsor university students for whom a case study was prepared.
The fair includes 16,000 new items of clothing and 4,000 packages of personal care products, accessories, and shoes, provided by the Fund to the targeted students. Each student is freely given the opportunity to choose 5 items that suit him or her, free of charge.
It is worth noting that the "Dukkan El Farha" initiative is organized through in-kind donations provided by manufacturers and importers of ready-made clothes, in addition to the participation of the Egyptian Clothing Bank in preparing these fairs and exhibitions.
