As part of its strategy to strengthen international academic partnerships, Alexandria University welcomed a delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), led by Dr. Wiebke Bachmann, Regional Director of the DAAD Cairo Office, to discuss expanding cooperation in scientific research, international scholarships, and academic exchange.

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University, reaffirmed the University's commitment to supporting international research collaboration, promoting scholarship opportunities, and enhancing the capabilities of young researchers through partnerships with leading global institutions.

The DAAD delegation praised Alexandria University's academic and research excellence and expressed its commitment to expanding collaboration in joint research projects, academic exchange, and scholarship programs.

The visit concluded with an open session at the Faculty of Science, where faculty members, researchers, and students were introduced to DAAD's scholarship and research opportunities and engaged in discussions on how to benefit from its programs.
