Under the auspices of Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Agriculture organized today a seminar entitled "Memories of Thirty Years of Theater at the Faculty of Agriculture", in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Bahi El-Din Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Maha Adel Kona, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Gamal Atwa, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
 
 
 
The seminar hosted the writer and theater director, agricultural engineer Ayman Fetiha, a graduate of the faculty in 1996, who spoke about his artistic career during his years of study at the faculty and beyond, where he wrote and acted in six distinguished theatrical performances. He also praised the pioneering role played by the theater team at the faculty of Agriculture in presenting theatrical performances of high literary and artistic value throughout different generations, noting that the faculty contributed to publishing his first book among its achievements in supporting the artistic creativity of its students. Fetiha also expressed his pride in the experiences he gained during his studies and theatrical work at the faculty, calling on the students and the current theater team to continue to benefit from and develop this rich artistic legacy that contributed to the graduation of many art icons in Egypt, and stressing the importance of renewal and innovation in university theater.
 
 
 
The seminar concluded with honoring the faculty guest, as Dr. Mohamed Bahey El-Din, Dean of the faculty, presented him with an honorary shield and a copy of the book “The Diamond Jubilee of the faculty of Agriculture”, in appreciation of his contributions to enriching the university theater.
 
 
 
The occasion was documented by taking commemorative photos amidst an atmosphere of pride and celebration of the faculty’s distinguished artistic past.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Agriculture celebrated its alumni from the sixties until 2024 in a reunion organized by the faculty under the title "Generations Reunion".
Dr. Mohamed Bahey El-Din, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that this event was attended by approximately a thousand graduates of the faculty from different batches, where the attendees were received by the faculty administration and the organizing committee. The attendees praised the idea of the reunion and reliving their happy memories within the faculty in a pleasant atmosphere.
 
 
 
During the meeting, a presentation was given on the history of the faculty since its establishment in 1942, as well as documentary films with old and new graduates.
 
 
Dr. Mohamed Bahey El-Din read the statement of the University Council regarding the Palestinian issue, stating the university’s stance standing as one behind the political leadership and the measures it is taking to support national sovereignty. The attendees agreed to stand as one and support their university’s statement in support of the Egyptian state.
 
 
 
At the end of the meeting, a commemorative shield was presented to the sponsor of the celebration, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of the University, and commemorative photos were taken around the faculty premises.

In implementation of the directives of Professor Dr Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, to hold a series of symposiums to raise national and cultural awareness among university students, the awareness and educational symposium "Battle of Awareness" was held today at the Conference Center of the Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of Dr. Iman Youssef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Tamer Abdallah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Anwar, former Dean of the Faculty of Education, Sheikh Ibrahim El Gamal, Head of Da'wah at Al-Azhar Sheikhdom in Alexandria, faculty members, and students.

The seminar discussed the importance of building awareness and the role of everyone in this, whether the state, institutions or individuals, with the aim of building a strong, cohesive personality capable of facing challenges and understanding the international and regional challenges that Egypt is witnessing. The meeting also addressed the value of the homeland, its importance and the necessity of preserving it, and the responsibility of every individual in society towards this, informing them of the targeting of fourth-generation wars against them, and that through the awareness of young students, all attempts of fourth-generation wars to preserve the Egyptian state are thwarted.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed yesterday, Saturday the 28th of December 2024, the first forum and entrepreneurship exhibition for alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University.
 
 
 
 
The forum was attended by Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, Dr. Hind Hanafy, member of the Senate and former President of the University, Dr. Iman Youssef, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Tamer Abdallah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Saad Galal, Professor of Ophthalmology and former Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Naglaa Mashaal, Professor of Internal Medicine and Director of the General Program for the Pre-Bachelor's Stage, in addition to a group of former Vice Presidents of the University, former Deans and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, faculty members, graduates of the Faculty and students.
 
 
 
 
 
In his speech, Dr. Ali Abdelmohsen stressed that this day is one of the distinguished days at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, noting that the idea of holding this forum came in order for previous and future generations to meet and exchange experiences and success stories achieved by previous generations in order to be a motivator and encouragement for future generations. Dr. Abdelmohsen said that since its establishment in 1942, the Faculty of Medicine has graduated many generations of skilled doctors who have distinguished themselves scientifically, administratively and in leadership, as they have held many managerial positions in various medical specialties in Egypt and the world. He pointed out that these alumni are the human force that has given the faculty its distinction and leadership as a result of their excellence and abundant knowledge. He stressed that the goal of the forum is also to raise the faculty's QS ranking, which is based on the reputation of graduates through their research output and career history, noting that the alumni have contributed to the faculty being among the top 300 medical colleges in the world.
While Dr. Iman Youssef confirmed that the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, is proud of the its alumni all over the world because they are the best ambassadors for their country in all medical specialties, stressing that the faculty graduates of experienced doctors have established the values of noble behavior, wise leadership and loyalty and are a role model for all subsequent generations, noting that the forum aims to provide support to students and maintain ties to build strong bridges between different generations.
 
 
 
 
Dr. Tamer Abdallah stressed that the forum is one of the manifestations of celebration and loyalty to the alumni who have made efforts and giving over the years and in appreciation of what they have provided during their academic career and their scientific and research contributions, and to motivate students and future generations to continue to excel and succeed by listening to the success stories achieved by those graduates. He stressed that the alumni have held the highest administrative positions in all sectors of the state, whether in medical or non-medical institutions, and stressed that the Alumni Association Office works to facilitate all services for graduates and shed light on their successes.
 
 
 
 
 
Dr. Ashraf Saad Galal expressed his pride for belonging to the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, which has contributed to graduating distinguished medical cadres in various specialties whose efforts are inexhaustible. He pointed out that the faculty graduates have not only excelled in the medical field, but they have also excelled in other fields such as art, sports, poetry, literature, history, archaeology and music.
 
 
 
 
Dr. Naglaa Mashaal pointed out that the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, is one of the distinguished faculties in all medical specialties in Egypt and the world, stressing that the forum brings together the giants of the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, to exchange experiences and motivate current and future generations to follow in their footsteps.
