Appointment of Dr. Enas Mousa Diab is Faculty Deputy of Specific Education for Education and Students Affairs
Dr. Roshdy Zahran, the President of Alexandria University appointed Dr. Enas Mousa Diab, the professor at Music Education Department in the Faculty of Specific Education as faculty Deputy for Education and Students Affairs for three years.
Engineering student wins the first place in the international competition for youth and sustainable development in Rome
Dr. Abdul Aziz Konswa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering congratulated and honored the student Saber Fekry Sakhr from the Department of Production Engineering for achieving the first place in the international contest for youth and sustainable development ZERO HACKATHON 2016 which was held in Rome – Italy.
The competition was held in the period from 29 November to 2 December 2016 under auspices of Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO), the International Youth Foundation and the International Organization for Society Development in Italy.
The student Saber Sakhr invented a new technique for water purification named TWOPRO and designed to be one of the effective solutions for the problem of water pollution suffered by the international community in genera and Egypt in particular. According to the World Health Organization estimates, more than 768 million people depend on the supply of non-improved water containing high levels of pollutants.
The faculty of Commerce organizes an awareness campaign against addiction
The Youth Welfare Department at the faculty of Commerce, in cooperation with the Addiction Anti-Addiction Fund, organized an awareness-raising campaign against drug addiction, and the campaign was held in the college’s yard, with the participation of students showing the extent of students ’awareness of the need to participate and explain the harms of drugs and addiction provided by the Fund, with full and complete commitment to all precautionary measures and social distancing
President of the foreign affairs committee of the House of Representatives delivered a lecture on "The Palestinian problem"
The Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science organized a symposium on the Palestinian problem and its implications for the Egyptian national security. A lecture was delivered by the ambassador Mohammed Orabi the former Egyptian minister of Foreign Affair. Mr. Orabi is currently President of the foreign affairs committee in the House of Representative. The symposium was attended by Dr. Kadri Ismail Dean of the faculty, Dr. Mamdouh Mansour, Head of the Political Science Department, Dr. Ali Abdel Wahab, Faculty deputy for Education and Students Affairs and a group of faculty members and students.
The Faculty of Engineering celebrates the graduation of the class of 2019
Dr. Essam El Kurdi, President of Alexandria University, recently witnessed the celebration of the Faculty of Engineering graduating the 73rd batch of the Faculty, the class of 2019, in a ceremony attended by Dr. Abdulaziz Qanswah, Governor of Alexandria, Dr. Mostafa El-Naggar, President of Matrouh University, Dr. Said Allam, Dean of the College, and faculty deans. Gentlemen, faculty, and parents of graduates.
