Within the framework of the role of Alexandria University in serving the community, and under the auspices of Dr. Abdel Aziz Konswa, President of Alexandria University, students of the Faculty of Fine Arts participated in implementing the sports mural on the wall of Alexandria University Stadium.
 
 
 
Dr. Nevin Gharib, acting dean of the faculty, indicated that the project involved 16 students from the faculty’s mural photography department as a graduation project, under the supervision of Dr. Mona Rajab and Dr. Donia Medhat, faculty members at the faculty. She explained that the project aims to recycle materials neglected in nature and transform them. For aesthetic field works in order to achieve the principle of sustainability and benefit from materials available in nature, she added that mosaics were used in implementing the entire project, and she pointed out that the students of the second year of the decoration department at the college implemented other ideas to transform environmental waste from wood and scrap into creative models with the aim of using them as cosmetic models for the fields in Alexandria for the coastal city to return to its splendor at the hands of its young artists.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Alexandria University and the International Atomic Energy Agency to establish a certificate program in nuclear law, the Faculty of Engineering hosted during the period from the 28th until the 30th of November a scientific symposium that included a group of International Atomic Energy Agency experts. The guests, Mr. Enot Sosino and Mr. Matthew David Dorothy, met with those responsible for preparing the program from Alexandria University, and delivered a number of lectures on nuclear law, in the presence of Dr. Essam Wahba, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Walid Abdelazim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Wael El-Meghlani, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Yasser Khalil, emeritus professor at the Department of Nuclear Engineering and program coordinator, as well as several distinguished faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Law, in addition to representatives of the Egyptian nuclear authorities, and a number of undergraduate and postgraduate students

Within the framework of the cooperation between Alexandria University and the Ministry of Endowments "Awqaf", and in the framework of the desire of both sides to spread the enlightened moderate thought, the cultural building program for imams and lady preachers of the Directorate of Awqaf in Alexandria has been launched for the first time, where the Faculty of Education will host a group of educational, awareness and enlightening lectures for 200 imams and 20 lady preachers.
 
 
 
 
The program commenced with a lecture entitled "The Psychological Traits of Imams and Lady Preachers", presented by Dr. Mohamed Anwar Farrag, Dean of the Faculty of Education, in the presence of Sheikh Salama Abdelrazaq, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Alexandria, Sheikh Hashem Saad El-Feqi, the Director of Preachers, and Sheikh Wessam Kasseb, the Director of Follow-up.
 
 
 
During the lecture, Dr. Farrag praised the role of the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments in building religious awareness, and its efforts to develop and educate its members among imams and lady preachers, and to integrate them into society and family, confirming that training is the language of the age, and that imams and lady preachers have a duty to advise, guide, and educate.

Under the auspices of Dr. Abdelaziz Konswa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Arts organized the “Festival of the Theatre Department for Departments and Specialized Institutes” at the Grand Theater in the Library of Alexandria.
 
 
 
Dr. Manal Fouda, Head of the Theater Department at the faculty, pointed out the goal of holding this festival, which is to unite the ranks of all educational institutions specialized in teaching the arts in one crucible to enhance students’ creative abilities and serve the goals of the National Strategic Plan and Egypt’s Vision 2030 regarding investing in people.
 
 
The opening included a theatrical performance entitled (The Shahateen Drama), written by Badr Muhareb and directed by Dr. Gamal Yaqout and acting students of the Theater Department at Alexandria University, and holding training workshops at the Shatby Culture Palace, and theatrical performances in the Small Theater in its Alexandria Library. The festival also witnessed the honoring of a number of art icons in Alexandria, and the showing of a number of short films of the most important dramatic works that distinguished students and graduates of the Theater Department and the Higher Institute. For performing arts this year. And short films about the most important works of the festival’s honorees.
 
 
The deans, deans of colleges, faculty members, the dean of the Cinema Institute in Alexandria, the dean of the Institute of Dramatic Arts in Alexandria, and a group of artists specialized in the theatrical and cinematic fields participated in the opening.
