تقدم الجمعية اليابانية لتطوير العلوم JSPS منحاً قصيرة الأجل للباحثين الحاصلين على الدكتوراه لاجراء ابحاثهم من خلال برنامج (overseas Fellowship Division) على النحو التالى :
- Summer program – for pre/ postdoctoral Researchers (2 monthes in summer)
- Postdoctoral Felloships – for young researchers :
- Short –term ( 1-2 months)
- Standard ( 12 – 24 Months)
- Pathway to university positions in Japan ( 12-24 months)
- Invitation Fellowships – for Mid-career, senior and Eminent Reseachers:
- Short – Term (7-30 days)
- Short – Term ( 14 – 60 days)
- Long – Term ( 2 – 10 months)
