Overview:

The library of Alexandria faculty of Medicine is located in the 6th floor of the academic building of the faculty of Medicine.
 The working hours are from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. from Saturday to Wednesday and from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Services:

The library and all its electronic services are free for all University members, postgraduate and undergraduate students,Unified Medical Dictionary.

The library contains more than 4500 books in all fields of Medicine, these books are very useful for undergraduate as well as post graduate students of the faculty of Medicine as well as other medical faculties as Pharmacy, Nursing, etc. You can access through our e-library.

The library has periodicals from year 1985 till year 1999 in different specialties of medicine as hard copy.

All master, MD, PhD thesis of Alexandria faculty of Medicine are present from year 1945 till now. They are more than 14000 theses, all can be accessed through our e-library.

The electronic library is new free services for visitors of the library. It contains 50 PC with internet connection (wired and wireless).  You can get free access to Egyptian University Libraries Consortium through this web site: www.eulc.edu.eg. This allows free access to 12 databases including: Science Direct, Ovid full text, EBSCO Academic Search Premier, etc. Through this database you get access to over 8000 indexed journals; if your search is not in this database, you can get your article with reduced fee within one week (special service for university members).

You can get access to the website of  www.eulc.edu.eg from your home or your clinic if you are registered. For registration you have 2 options:

1. Fill an application form in the library by the electronic librarian, then you are instantly registered.

2. Download the application form and then fill it and send it toThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Then you will receive your acceptance for registration then, your password and user name will be sent to you within one week.
