The result of the final qualifies of the international competition in Madrid – Spain was announced under supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Sakr the President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Dr. Hossam Othman on behalf of the Minister of Communication.

Dr. Mahmoud Sakr the President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology highlighted the support of the Ministry of Higher Education with 100 thousand EGP as a fund for travel cost, also the National Agency for Communication provided (Business Tablets)  to the students.

Dr. Hisham Gaber the AU Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs said that the participation in this event is an evidence that the Egyptian youth is able to develop the country as we have creative students in all fields.

Dr. Abdel Aziz Konswa; the Vice-President of Alexandria University declared that the university will establish an academy for robots to convert ideas into real projects. He indicated that the competition is a knowledge based construction of the students as Egypt needs an economy based on knowledge to achieve development and progress in all fields.

Dr. Said Allam; Dean of the faculty of Engineering  pointed out that is the first time the university to host this type of competitions to embrace youth and launch their energies in order to develop innovative projects on land and get rid of all landmines in Egypt.

Eng. Mohamed Aboud; the Manager of HADATH company and President of the competition declared that the company concerned by implementing of programs to develop local and Arab communities in cooperation with the Ministry of Communication and the best universities in and out Egypt. 

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Osama Ismail; the President of Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Ahmed Basem Al Kerdany; the Command General of North Region, Eng. Gamal Abdel Atey; the Director of Gelcom Company, Dr. Omar Farouk; the Assistant of the President  of Scientific Research Academy and number of the faculty members in the university.
