About the Training and Information Technology Center: In the framework of the ongoing development process at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Farrag - Dean of the faculty - and Dr. Gamal Hagar former Dean and Dr. Sameh Al Ansari - Executive Director of the Center - The Training and Information Technology Center was established in 4/2006 on behalf of the Information Technology Club (which consists of one hall) to train students and employees in the best way to use the computer .

The center has been accredited by the Institute of Health to host ICTP courses which work on the training of employees on the use of computer from the University of Alexandria .

The Center has also expanded its responsibility to include the establishment of a special site for the faculty and to provide ICDL courses and training courses for all departments .

By increasing the responsibility of the center, it has become necessary to expand the center to include a larger number of training halls and places for employees. It has also become necessary for the Center to seek accreditation from a number of international bodies and companies such as UNESCO and MICROSOFT. After the required expansions, the training and information technology center was inaugurated in 7/2008, including:
